MORRISTOWN — Loyola Jesuit Center in Morristown, in partnership with the Ignatian Spirituality Project (ISP), hosted a follow-up “Evening of Prayer” and dinner for 12 women from Eva’s Village who had attended a weekend retreat there in the fall. The women commented that being at Loyola has had a profound impact on them, strengthening their faith, giving them hope and empowering them to go on.
In addition to receiving spiritual gifts of hope, peace and faith while at Loyola, the women also received prayer shawls donated by St. Thomas the Apostle in Oak Ridge, St. John Vianney in Stockholm, and St. Philip the Apostle in Clifton; neck warmers donated by the Quilting Ministry of Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel in Cedar Knolls and bags of toiletries donated by St. Aloysius Parish in Caldwell.
Loyola provides eight ISP retreats a year for men and women in need as a gift to them.
