WEST MILFORD — Come out and see "Twelve Angry Jurors," adapted from Reginald Rose's Emmy Award winning classic "Twelve Angry Men," beginning May 12 for two weekends performed by the West Milford Players.
Adapted by Sherman Sergel and directed by Meridyth Mazer with assistance from Peter Maris, this is an intense, high stakes court room drama about a jury deciding the fate of a young man's life. Watch as the jury dissects the crime and comes to its verdict.
The show will be performed on May 12, 13, 14, 19, 20 and 21; Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., Sundays at 2 p.m. at Hillcrest Community Center.
Performers include Elisa Tornow, Christopher McLeod, Miranda Koloski, Brandy Boyle, Jim Gywn, Christine Alessio, Brett Travers, Kenny Fisher- Marciano, Debbie Quinlan, Norberto Yacono, Bill Selino, Bryan Murray, Matt Kelly and Rich Ahrens.
As is always the case, a percentage of the proceeds from the West Milford Players show will go to a non-profit, in this case the National MS Society.
Budding director?The West Milford Players are still taking proposals for the 2017-2018 season. Are you interested in directing next season? You can be an experienced director looking for a new project or someone who has never directed and wanting to try something new. The group is open to any type of show: musicals, plays, originals, reviews, one-acts, etc. Email them with your proposal information, resume of experience, and budget information. Don't know where to start? They are here to help. They will work with you to create a budget and give you leads for your production team.
