WEST MILFORD — The West Milford Health Department will be sponsoring a Hearing Conservation Program on Thursday, May 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

The program consist of three parts: ear canal observation, ear wax removal and hearing test. The option for the hearing test will be scheduled at a later time to be announced.

The clinic will be held in the Nurses’ Clinic at Township Hall, 1480 Union Valley Road. The fee for the exam is $16.

Signs and symptoms of blockage are:

Earache
Feeling fullness in the affected ear

Ear noise (ringing in the ear)

Decreased hearing in the affected ear

Information to share with the practitioner at the visit:

Duration of earache and or difficulty hearing.

Whether or not there been a history of ear drainage.

Whether or not the symptoms are continuous or intermittent.
