No need to fly off to the islands of Hawaii; Community Services and Recreation brought that tropical feel right here to the township with its luau.

On July 12, DJ Lou Nader had a good crowd of enthusiastic residents feeling the breeze of the ocean right there at the Elks Club. Many danced in grass skirts and bright florals, some with flowers in their hair. There was a Hawaiian dance contest and the hula was a big hit. Of course there was line dancing too.

Community Services and Recreation hosts gatherings for residents over 50 throughout the year, including a 50s sock hop and spring fling to name just a couple.
