West Milford hosts a variety of bands throughout the summer. There's country, rock and roll and even a 45-piece concert band. The township's Department of Community Services and Recreation puts together the Concerts Under the Stars at Bubbling Springs and does its best to please all musical tastes. The North Jersey Concert Band played to the crowd on a warm Tuesday evening, July 22, much to the delight of the hundreds gathered.

The band plays a combination of classical, American folk music, show tunes, military music and big band pieces.

Because of rainouts, there are still two concerts left. The "Streets of the Bronx" concert will be held on Aug. 19 and the Parrot Beach concert, the big finale of the series, will be held on Aug. 26, just before Labor Day weekend. So if you haven't been out to a concert yet this summer, there's still time!
