WEST MILFORD — A vivid and exciting demonstration showing how Jesus fulfilled the ancient feast of Passover will be presented by Chosen People Ministries on Sunday, May 28, at The Journey Church.
Leopold Cohn, a Hungarian Rabbi who came to believe that Jesus was the Messiah promised by the Hebrew Scriptures, founded Chosen People Ministries in 1892. From humble beginnings, this organization has grown into a worldwide ministry “to the Jew first and to the gentile.”
Beginning with the Passover Seder table, the speaker will explain the meanings of the various elements of the traditional feast and highlight their relationship to the last supper that Jesus celebrated with his disciples, giving powerful insights into the Jewish roots of Christianity and special emphasis on the redemptive significance of the crucifixion.
All are welcome to this celebration of the common heritage between the Jewish and Christian communities at the 10 a.m. service.
A free-will offering will be taken.
The Journey Church is located at 184 Marshall Hill Road in West Milford.
