Official primary election results maintain trend West Milford. The final numbers from last week’s primary election are in from the Passaic County Clerk.

The Passaic County Clerk released the official primary election results Monday.
According to those results, Republican Mayor Michele Dale picked up 80 provisional votes in the race for mayor while her opponent, Township Councilman Lou Signorino, picked up 12 more votes for a total of 1,510-468 respectively.
Democratic mayoral candidate Bob Nicholson earned 15 more provisional votes for a total of 353 in his uncontested race.
Republican Committee candidates Kevin Goodsir and Warren Gross received 76 and 74 more votes respectively for totals of 1,453 and 1,403 to win the party’s nomination for the two open council seats.
Republican challengers, incumbent Peter McGuinness and Steven Castronova got an additional 18 and 12 votes respectively for totals of 547 and 457, according to the results.
The Democrats did not put up any candidates in the race for council, and no petitions were filed for independent candidates by last week’s deadline, according to the township.
Dale and Nicholson will face off in November for the four-year mayor’s seat.
Goodsir and Gross will run unopposed in the race for two, three-year, council seats in the general election.
The general election winners will officially take office next January.
