Activity/Club/Sport: Field Hockey.
1. How did you get involved with your activity?
I started playing field hockey in 8th grade, a lot of my friends played and convinced me to try it. In the beginning I thought I would hate it but it ended up being my favorite sport.
2. Who is your biggest inspiration?
My coach, (Krista) Provost, is my biggest inspiration. Without her I wouldn’t be where I am today. She continues to motivate me everyday to be the best player I can be.
3. What would most people be surprised to know about your activity?
Team work makes the dream work. Even though you have a bunch of skillful players, that isn’t the only thing you need to be a good team. Team bonding and truly caring for each other off the field, increases our performance on the field. We’re constantly
4. Who is your favorite teacher of all time? Why?
To this day my favorite teacher of all time is Mrs. McGovern my 5th grade teacher. She was such great role model and an amazing person overall!
5. Name three things you would bring with you if you were on a deserted island?
I would bring an unlimited supply of coffee, a blanket and a flash light.
6. Share a favorite moment with your group/club/team.
One of my favorite memories is the bus ride home after we won counties, and we were singing so loud that we all lost our voices.
7. What does being a Highlander mean to you?
Being an Highlander means having pride and being proud to be a Highlander. Supporting each other and creating a good reputation for ourselves and our school.
8. What do you do with your time, when you are not doing your activity?
Besides working, doing homework and taking naps, I like going for runs and going out with my friends
9. What is your favorite movie, book or character? Why?
My favorite movie is stuck in love, I just love everything about that movie.
10. Share something no one knows about you.
During the summer I travel to the Dominican Republic on a mission trip to help the serve the people there.
