Children's Summer Reading Club Open to children entering grades one through six, the summer reading club will explore "Dragons, Dreams and Daring Deeds" through programs, books and activities at . The Wee Read Club is for children ages three to five. Registration begins June 27 for the program, which will run from July 5 to July 30. Register in person at any library and receive a book bag and a "Knight's Handbook." Sign-ups for individual story times and craft programs are separate from the reading club registration. All programs are free of charge! Teen and Adult Summer Reading Club This summer, all branches will offer a Summer Reading Club for teens in grades 7-12 and adults. Registration begins June 23 at 6 p.m. at the main library's Teen & Adult Summer Reading Club Kickoff. You can also register at any library branch beginning June 27. The program will run from July 5 to July 30. By reading at least one book per week, you will be eligible to win a gift certificate to a local bookstore. Come into the library once per week during the weeks of July 5 through July 30 and you can put your name into a weekly drawing. Registration is required. Hey kids, find an old sneaker, shoe or boot and come to the library and create a garden in your sneaker. There will be books and activities to go along with the gardening theme. Learn new stitches, make new friends and share patterns. No registration required. How to really start your own business Registration required. Program runs Wednesday, June 22 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. SCORE, a part of northwest New Jersey's Small Business Administration will be sponsoring a seminar on how to start your own business. There will be four counselors on hand to discuss the essential elements of business: money, markets, and management. After the seminar you may make a free appointment with a counselor. Traveling for less Program runs June 16, at 7 p.m. Join Mary Lind, from the American Auto Association, where she will discuss how to travel for less, including tours and cruises. Registration required. Book discussion group Program runs Tuesday, June 21, at 7 p.m. The book discussion will center on "Lydia Cassatt Reading the Morning Paper" by Harriet Scott Chessman. The life of impressionist painter Mary Cassatt is fictionalized in this novel about art and passion, narrated by the artist's sister, Lydia. Book to movie for adults Program runs Saturday, June 4, at 1 p.m. After you read the book, "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee, join us as we show the movie by the same title in our meeting room.
