WARWICK — Warwick Valley Winery and Distillery is hosting its 5th annual tribute to the music of the Grateful Dead on Aug. 17 and 18.
The festival will take place on the Winery’s outdoor stage, located at 114 Little York Road in Warwick, from 12 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, rain or shine.
The event celebrates the music of the Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia. Artists performing on Saturday include Brothers Bound, McMule, The Stella Blues Band, the Kind Buds, and Reflections. On Sunday, Dead on the Tracks, Nailed Shutt, Ray Longchamp, Uncle Shoehorn and the Jam Stampede, will be performing.
These musicians recreate the atmosphere, the vibe and the music that made the Grateful Dead famous.
In addition to great music, Pané, the winery café, will be serving food both indoors and at the outside Garden Grill. The grill and café will be preparing an assortment of locally grown produce as well as Lowland Farms brisket, smoked pork and assorted other delicacies.
