West Milford Community Services and Recreation tries not to miss a reason to celebrate. The end of summer dance earlier this month showed just how good the celebrations are. About 65 residents attended the soiree, which was held at the West Milford Elks Lodge on Saturday, Sept. 8, to bid adieu to the warmth of summer. It turned into a fun night of dancing for many who hit the dance floor for favorites such as The Stroll, the Cha Cha Slide and some good old fashioned country line dancing. Tunes from the '50s and '60s gave the night a real festive atmosphere. The dances are held throughout the year for residents age 50 and up.
