SPARTA — For the sixth year, the House Committee of Lake Mohawk will again sponsor a tour of homes in the reservation and will feature six houses, both old and new, built in the lake style. The tour will be held on Saturday, September 20, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. An optional special luncheon, the last of the season, will be served on the Boardwalk from 11:30 until 2 p.m. Open to all, the luncheon will be $15, but reservations must be made by calling the club office at 973-729-6156. Tickets for the tour are $25 and may be combined with the luncheon for $35. The tickets may be purchased at the club office and at Lake Mohawk Gallery (21 White Deer Plaza) during normal business hours. All tickets will be sold on a first-come basis. If there are any tickets not pre-sold, they will be available on the Boardwalk the morning of the tour from 10-11 a.m. No children under 12 are allowed and everyone must have a ticket. The event will be held rain or shine with all proceeds used to purchase needed items for the club.
