Stan Zimmerman’s drawing of a cat titled “Wild Thing” won the People’s Choice for 2021 at the seventh annual art show hosted by the Friends of Wallisch.
After a virtual 2020 art show, the Friends of Wallisch held their seventh annual art show in person this month at the Wallisch Homestead in West Milford.
More than 50 artists presented more than 150 pieces of original art. Area judges selected the winners in the various categories, but it’s the visitors who selected the People’s Choice Award.
After the votes were tallied, Stan Zimmerman’s drawing of a cat titled “Wild Thing” won the People’s Choice for 2021.
A close second was Keirsten Templeton’s “Morning Ritual” followed by Patricia Quirk’s “Turbulence” tied with student artist Jessica Egido’s “Turtle.”
