Loretta Hagen closes out the NJBG Summer Concert series on Friday, Aug. 19 at the New Jersey Botanical Garden.
Known for her rich alto voice and heart-tugging songs, Hagen is a singer-songwriter whose musical career spans more than two decades. She has an uncanny ability to make an audience feel right at home, leaving them smiling, laughing, crying, and singing along, as she reflects about love, loss, courage, hope and perseverance.
This concert is sponsored by American Wear.
Grab a lawn chair or blanket and come enjoy some great music in these magnificent surroundings.
The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. on the Concert Lawn. If the weather is bad, the concert is moved indoors into the Carriage House Visitor Center.
NJBG requests a $5 per person donation. Light refreshments are available for purchase or you can bring your own, but no alcohol, pets, balls or frisbees.
NJBG/Skylands Association receives no funding from the State of New Jersey or from on-site operators. Donations and sponsorships are always appreciated, and volunteers are always welcome.
