Whipping magic at Wild West City

“Jack the Whipper,” aka Jack Lepiarz, will appear this summer at Wild West City, for his fifth year of entertaining crowds with his whipping tricks and talents. The Texas native spent years as a child traveling with his father in the circus. It was his father, John, who introduced him to the bullwhip. While attending a children’s circus program, Lepiarz learned to crack the whip. When he was 17, he received a bullwhip for Christmas. He started practicing until he was able to snap uncooked spaghetti hanging out of his mouth. Wild West City is a life-size replica of an 1880s frontier town located in Netcong, with 22 live action shows, stagecoach, pony, and train rides, and gold digs. Admission is $13.50 for adults, $12.50 for children, and $11 for seniors. The park is open from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through Labor Day and weekends through September.
