Usually vacuuming them with the soft brush attachment will do. In the event they are extremely dirty/dusty, you can partially fill your bathtub with warm water and a mild soap such as liquid dish detergent. Place the basket in the water and immediately take it out. Do this over and over until you've cleaned the entire basket. Fill the tub again with clean water and repeat to remove any remaining soap.
