Volunteers from the United Methodist Church and others in the community will be distributing new, free clothing for young children on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the United Methodist Church at 65 La Rue Road in the Newfoundland section of West Milford.
“The ‘Klothes for Kids’ project has hundreds of new items of young children’s clothing from The Children’s Place, which we want to share with our community,” Carla Horton, the volunteer coordinator of the event, said. “If you know a young child in need of clothing, we will try to help.” The clothing is mostly spring and summer fashions and dressy items. Those who attend are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
