It took an extra year but the Scouts of West Milford’s Troop 114 who took part in one of Scouting’s crown jewels, its high adventure program known as Sea Base, said it was worth the wait.
The Troop had originally expected to attend in the summer of 2020 but had to be put off of a year because of COVID-19.
Undeterred, the Scouts flew down to Florida and with their parents scampered about the sail boats at on Lower Matecumbe Key home of the Florida National High Adventure Sea Base for a cruise into the cerulean waters off the Florida Keys in late July.
