Helen G. Koller, 100 years of age, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.
She was born on Sept. 16, 1919, in Orange, N.J., the daughter of Edna M. Tappan and Henry T. Zickler.
Helen married John Koller in 1938 and resided in Nutley, N.J.
Helen worked at Fisher Stevens in Clifton, N.J., and at the Cedar Grove Deli in Cedar Grove, N.J.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband John in 2001, her dear brothers William, Warren and Millard Nolze; and her dear sisters Francis and Edna.
Helen is survived by her loving children: John E. Koller of Clifton, N.J., and Margaret A. Draheim and her husband William of West Milford, N.J.; her cherished grandchildren: John E. Koller Jr. of Owasso, Ok., William A. Draheim and his wife Maryellen of West Milford, N.J., Wendy Parent and her husband Jerry of Verona, N.J., Nancy Woodcock and her husband Edward of West Milford, N.J., Pamela Gordon and her husband Bill of Rotondo West, Fla., Jennifer Llewellyn of Riverdale, N.J.; her niece Joyce Westerkamp of Branchville, N.J.; her adored great grandchildren Kevin, Krystal, Edward, Dan, Jake and Robert; and her dear brother Harold of Flintstone, Ga.
A Memorial Mass will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 11 a.m., at St. Joseph RC Church, 454 Germantown Road, West Milford, N.J. 07480.
Memorial donations may be made in Helen’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
