A loving family is devastated by the loss of husband and father Joseph S. Ricca of West Milford, N.J., 64, who died on Monday, April 26, 2021, after a coronary arrest related to COVID-19. He was 64 years old.

Joe leaves behind Eileen McMorrow-Ricca, his wife of 28 years, and their dear children, Joseph and Meghan, who is soon to graduate from Montclair State University.

A lifelong Yankees and Raiders fan who enjoyed a refreshing cocktail and a good cigar, Joe was always happiest with his family: on the deck, at the shore or dinner out in pre-pandemic days.

Joe was born in Newark. He worked for 27 years as a quality engineer at Kearfott Corp., where he met Eileen. They blended Italian and Irish beautifully; two blue-eyed kids with an appreciation for Italian cooking.

In addition to his wife and kids, Joe is also survived by his brother Frank (Janice) and sister Josephine. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph T. and Mary G. Ricca. Services have been held.
