Shannon Harty of Hamburg, N.J., passed away peacefully on Friday, Aug. 6, 2021. She was 51.
Shannon was born on June 8, 1970, in Pequannock, N.J. to Frederick and Ardis (Roemmele) Harty. She was predeceased by her parents.
Shannon is survived by her son, Colin McGrath, of Mcafée, N.J.; along with her three sisters, Stephanie and her husband, Michael Spinosa, of Clayton, N.C., Brittany and her husband, Richard Wilson, of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., and Janet and her husband, Tommy O’Neal, of Washington, N.C. In addition, she was survived by five nieces and nephews and a great-niece and -nephew.
Shannon had a great love for her family, music, and animals. A true testament to the kind heart that she had. Shannon’s love of humor and laughter sustained her to the very end. Shannon will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Private services were held by the family.
