Office parties still possible with modern technology

The video conference service unifies cloud video conferencing, simple online meetings and group messaging offering video, audio, and wireless screen-sharing experience across multiple platforms.

On Friday, March 27, the Green Team Real Estate Agency, which enjoys hosting frequent agent and broker get-togethers, held its first virtual Friday “Happy Hour,” and more than 50 agents were present.

But following the social distancing rules imposed to fight the current coronavirus epidemic, they stayed more than six feet apart.

In fact, they were all home but using the same technology they use for those weekly meetings and training to toast each other on their cloud video.

”One of my goals as an entrepreneur during this covid-19 pandemic,” said Geoffrey Green, president of Green Team Realty, “is to make sure I can help the people of Green Team Realty stay connected socially. I think isolation can be a real problem for one's mental state. So, we decided to do a 'Virtual Happy Hour' this past Friday and it was a hit. Lots of good laughs, exchange of memories, and of course discussion about this pandemic we all now face.”
