Saint Joseph Church celebrated girl scouting with a special Mass on March 12. The award categories this year included My First Holy Communion, I Live My Faith and the Marion Medal. The girls and their leaders Irene Weiss and her daughters Cathryn and Courtney, will attend the annual Eucharistic Celebration and Award Ceremony at the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist in Paterson on March 19, 2006. Fr. Peplowski will accompany the troops to the cathedral next Sunday. In this picture, Rev. Sigmund Peplowski receives the gifts during Mass from the scouts.
