The students of Marshall Hill School recently held a fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The Marshall Hill Student Council was presented with this idea from one of its members, Hailee Werner, whose little brother Ryder suffers from Cystic Fibrosis. The slogan for this project was “Change For a Change.” Each classroom in the school was challenged to raise $20.12 in change for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The fundraising was a huge success. The money raised was almost five times the anticipated goal. Marshall Hill School raised a grand total of $1,400 to donate to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Cystic Fibrosis is a disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. As a reward for their efforts, the shool celebrated with Pajama Day where everyone was allowed to wear their pajamas to school.
