WEST MILFORD-Once again, it's time for local photographers to dust off their negatives and submit their best photos to the township photo contest. The contest is part of the annual Autumn Lights Festival slated for Oct. 9. The festival committee seeks images that illustrate the character of West Milford. As in the past, award recipients will be announced and photos displayed at the annual Autumn Lights Festival on Oct. 9. Prizes will be awarded to first and second place winners, according to festival officials. The contest is open to photographers of all ages, both amateur and professional. Those wishing to participate should pick up an entry form at the township clerk's office or call Barbara at 973-728-2715 to receive one by mail. Contest rules are simple. All photos must be taken within the boundaries of West Milford. There is no limit on the number of submissions by a single photographer. Any size color or black & white print is acceptable. Please remember to identify the subject of the photo. Entries can either be mailed to Town Hall, 1480 Union Valley Road, West Milford, N.J. 07480 c/o the A.L.F. Committee, or can be dropped off weekdays during business hours at the township administrator's office in Town Hall. Entries won't be returned.
