Jefferson Township to hold Fall Festival

    JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP — The Jefferson Township Recreation Department will host its annual Fall Festival at Camp Jefferson located at 81 Weldon Road on Saturday, October 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (raindate - October 22). This event is free. Festival activities will include music by Oh! Studios, hayrides, a petting zoo and pony rides with Country Meadow Animal Farm, a magic show by Wisch Craft Production's Bill Wisch, crafts, pumpkin picking, a model train display presented by the BDandW Railroad Club, Sparky the Fire Dog, a "Pets Plus" small animal display, an inflatable Moon Walk, and a Car Safety Check by the Jefferson Township Police Department. Refreshments will be available at a nominal fee. Everyone is asked to please bring a non-perishable food item to help restock the Jefferson Township food pantry. Following the Fall Festival, the Jefferson Consolidated PTA will host their 17th annual Haunted House matinee (non-scary edition) at 4 p.m. at the Community Lodge at Camp Jefferson. Tickets are $1.
