Zachary Rodek, a member of Cub Scout Pack 159 in Hewitt, was recently awarded the "God and Me" medal at Warwick United Methodist Church. The God and Me award is for scouts in grades 1 through 3 who learn more about their faith and their relationship with God. Zachary studied different parts of prayer and how to pray for others, learned what a Good Shepherd is and how to identify them in his life, and visited other churches to photograph stained glass windows which told the story of Jesus' life. He is the first scout in Pack 159's 25-year history to receive this award. Pictured here are Zachary and his parents, Christina and Richard Rodek, along with their Pastor Julia Yim.
