WEST MILFORD - The West Milford Township Public Schools and West Milford Schools Arts Department held its annual All District Arts Festival on Wednesday April 3.
Student Artwork from grades Kindergarten through 12 were on display at the art show in the West Milford High School cafeteria for all to stop by and view.
The Highlander Band Front Pit Percussion Ensemble performed, as spectators gathered in the bleachers of the WMHS Gym.
Festival I included performances by the Elementary Beginners Band (fifth grade), the Macopin 7th grade Band, and the West Milford High School Highlanders Symphonic Band.
The Highlanders Pipes and Drum Corps preceded the symphonic band.
For Festival II, the audience moved to the WMHS Auditorium to enjoy the districts Choir and Chorus programs for grades 5-12.
Festival III was held in the WMHS Gym following the choral presentation, and the Front Pit Ensemble once again wowed the crowd.
The Elementary Advanced Band (Sixth grade), and the Macopin 8th Grade Band performed, followed by an encore visit from the Highlanders Pipes and Drums. The Highlanders Wind Ensemble completed the show and the evening of entertainment was concluded with a massed bands finale performance of "Scotland the Brave."
