NEWFOUNDLAND — Volunteers from Faith in Action will be giving away new, free clothing for young children on Sunday, May 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church located at 65 La Rue Road in the Newfoundland section of West Milford.
“May 21 is Faith in Action Sunday and all across the township church members will be pooling our resources, talents, and energy to take care of one another," according to CarlLa Horton, the volunteer coordinator of the event. "The 'Klothes for Kids' project has hundreds of new items of young children’s clothing from Carter’s, Oshkosh and Gymboree, which we want to share with our community. If you know a young child in need of clothing, we will try to help.”
