On June 8-9, Scouts from Troop 159 visited Battleship Cove in Fall River, Massachusetts for a "Nautical Night."
They spent the weekend aboard the highly decorated battleship USS Massachusetts, where they learned how sailors lived and worked on board.
The scouts ate in the Officer’s Wardroom, and slept in the same authentic bunks that the sailors used.
Their free time was spent exploring the entire Battleship Cove fleet, which includes the USS Joseph P. Kennedy Jr., a Gearing-class destroyer, and the USS Lionfish, a World War II-era attack submarine.
The Scouts departed on Sunday with many souvenirs, including patches, G.I. Dog Tags, and memories to last a lifetime.
