WARWICK, NY - Emergency crews from two towns had to work together Tuesday morning to free the driver of a dump truck that overturned on the Warwick Turnpike, according to a post from the Warwick Fire Department on Facebook.
According to the post, the crash took place at 7:32 a.m. on Tuesday when a dump truck carrying dirt overturned on the Warwick Turnpike near the Warwick Drive-In.
First responders arrived to find the driver of the truck trapped and enlisted the help of the West Milford Fire Department to get him out, the post said.
Warwick police could not provide any further information regarding the crash by the paper's Thursday deadline.
according to the post, Warwick police, EMS, and West Milford Fire responded to the scene.
Residents living in the area reported on Facebook that the road was shut for several hours while the crash and spilled dirt was cleared from the road.
