WEST MILFORD — Summer months are traditionally slow for blood donations. Not here in West Milford. That's because everyone who donates gets a free ticket to the New York Renaissance Faire, held in Tuxedo, N.Y.
The Monthly Blood Drive will be held this Sunday, Aug. 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the West Milford First Aid Squad at 619 Ridge Road. No appointment is necessary. Anyone 17 and older who is in good health may donate; sixteen year olds may also donate with parental consent.
Eat a good meal before you come and bring picture id. The Renaissance Faire runs now through Oct. 2 on Saturdays, Sundays and Labor Day.
