RINGWOOD, N.J. — Greenwood Lake Paddleboards, a member of both the Warwick Valley and Ringwood Chambers of Commerce, is enjoying its third season of business.

And it recently relocated from Greenwood Lake to the neighboring Monksville Reservoir in Ringwood, N.J.

On Thursday, July 9, Ringwood Mayor Walter Davison, Superintendent of Ringwood State Park Eric Pain and representatives of the Warwick Valley and Ringwood Chambers of Commerce joined owners Chaz Corallo and Theresa Sparkes for the grand reopening of Greenwood Lake Paddleboards at its new location at Monksville's South Launch.

"Monksville was our most popular delivery location last year," said Sparkes. "And we love being on such a peaceful body of water."

Greenwood Lake Paddleboards offers paddleboards along with single and double kayaks for rent.

"Monksville is an excellent place for beginners to try their balance on the water," said Corallo. "We offer verbal instructions with each rental, and make sure our customers feel comfortable before sending them out. Group and private paddleboard lessons are also available by appointment from our certified instructors."

Monksville is a part of Long Pond Ironworks State Park. And there are hiking trails right from Greenwood Lake Paddleboards new location, which is down the road from the historic Long Pond Ironworks.

"Be prepared to have an active day when you visit us," said Sparkes. "We also do deliveries to lake front homes, public waterways and have even been working with some gyms who do SUP yoga in their pools. Come visit us Thursday through Sunday. We look forward to seeing you."
