On Sunday, Sept. 19, the Mid-Hudson St. Patrick’s Day Parade will march through Greenwood Lake, marking “halfway to St. Patrick’s Day.”
The long and elaborate parade will include countless marchers, bands, bagpipes and dancing.
The parade kicks off down Windermere Avenue at 2 p.m. and heads south. The parade will make a right on to Jersey Avenue, left on to Hazen Street, another left onto Murray Road, followed by another left back on to Windermere Avenue where it will head all the way back to Winstanley Park.
Greenwood Lake residents who live on the parade route or have questions about travel for the day, should contact Village Police 477-9211 or email Mayor Jesse Dwyer directly at mayor@villageofgreenwoodlake.org.
