The United Methodist Church at Newfoundland sponsored “Klothes for Kids” last month and provided hundreds of new items of clothing donated by Carter’s and Gymboree to local families. One grateful recipient’s thank-you note stated: “Some of the clothes you donated are now helping a young, single mother with limited family support, as she struggles to raise two young girls under age 3 on her own. Your help is much appreciated.”
