WEST MILFORD — Scouts from Pack and Troop 159 out of Hewitt participated in the Ramapo Valley District Klondike Derby recently.
This year's theme was the 2014 Olympics and each sled represented a country that participated in the Winter Olympics. The sleds went from country to country and participated in general scouting competition including first aid, knots, team building and Olympic knowledge. Not only did Pack 159 send two sleds to compete, but Troop 159 sent one sled to compete and also ran one of the stations where the scouts showed their skills.
