WEST MILFORD — November was a month of giving at Macopin Middle School. “Country Day” was part of it, where students were permitted to wear western gear if they paid $1. The profits went to Camp Southern Ground, a camp for special needs students that was started by Zac Brown of the Zac Brown Band. Keeping with the month of giving, Macopin's Activity Night was also dedicated to this cause. Fourteen staff members volunteered to ride a mechanical bull to raise more money for the camp. Students donated all week and this culminating in a great show at the Activity Night. In total, Macopin sent $500 to this organization from students and staff.
