WEST MILFORD — Community and school-based professionals took time out of their schedules to share their experiences with approximately 270 eighth graders at Macopin Middle School's Career Day on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
The program, organized by school counselor Laura Borgess, is an annual event in which professionals speak to the students about their careers. This year’s presenters included staff members Abby Beyjoun, Mike Koger, Jennifer Kupcho, Bill Greiner, Christine Dean, David Gluckstein, and Sarah Warren. Topics presented by the in house personnel included education, law enforcement, deaf education, psychology, social work, and clothing design.
Returning to the program from the community were Mark Salamone, Dr. Eric Louer, Andrea Jennings, and Sue VanOver. New to the program this year were Trooper Adam Grossman, Officer Robert Guild, Jen Rose, Lisa Reinhold, and Aaron Dickerson. Additional career topics included mechanical engineering, parole officer, aroma and massage therapy, music production, advertising, fitness, and law enforcement on the state level.
