WEST MILFORD — On Monday evening, Sept. 26, Macopin School will be hosting its annual “Back To School Night.”
Bring a copy of your student’s schedule with you, which can be found on the Parent Portal of the district's website. Someone will be available in the Guidance Department to print schedules should you need it.
The program will begin promptly at 7 p.m. in the Macopin School auditorium with a welcome by Principal Marc Citro and some words from Marcie Babbitt, Macopin PTO president. Matthew Strianse, assistant principal, will review some important information for parents.
At the conclusion of this session, parents will then have the opportunity to follow their child’s schedule and meet their teachers, who will discuss classroom management and curriculum.
Back To School Night is aimed at providing an overview of your student’s program for this year. Parents who wish to discuss their child’s progress at this early point in the year should ask the Guidance Department to schedule a mutually convenient date, as teachers will not have the time to have such a discussion that evening. Parents may contact teachers by phone or by email as well.
Back To School Night is designed for parents. It is requested that Macopin students and younger children not attend this program.
Anyone with questions about Back To School Night may contact the Macopin Guidance Department at 973-697-5691 Ext. 3042.
