Friday, Sept. 9 Maple Road School held their first annual First Friday Celebration. This event was to kick off our school year and to celebrate our recognition as a NJ State School of Character. Parents were invited to celebrate with the children. The theme was "Setting Goals" for the new school year, and the celebration started with classes parading outside with homemade banners. The celebration continued with parents and students creating "home" goals for the school year. Students, staff, and parents wore special Maple Road "Full Value" t-shirts to show unity. A big thank you to the Maple Road PTO for contributing to the t-shirts!
