    Maple Road salutes you

WEST MILFORD — Maple Road Elementary School held its first ever service appreciation day to honor those in the community who help us each day. Those honored included members of the fire and police departments and ambulance corp.
Representatives from the police and fire departments and ambulance corp came to the assembly where students honored them with gifts, certificates, and a slide show accompanied by third and fifth grade singers. It was a way to thank them for all they do to keep everyone safe.
Many of the service men and women have sons, daughters, nieces, nephews and grandchildren who attend Maple Road. The special guests were escorted into the ceremony by West Milford High School student Pipe Major Danielle Dreyer. Afterwards, the guests were treated to refreshments hosted by the Maple Road PTO.
