Marilyn Perillo All Occasions hosts grand opening

WARWICK — Local officials and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce joined owner Marilyn Perillo, her family and staff, for the grand opening of Marilyn Perillo All Occasions on Friday, Aug. 23. It was the 26th grand opening celebrated by Chamber members so far this year.

Marilyn Perillo All Occasions, located at 13 First St., Suite 3, offers time saving solutions for special events and wedding planning, assistance for business and pleasure travelers, destination weddings and tickets to concerts, sports, and theater performances.

Perillo is the former owner of Marilyn's Consignment on Railroad Ave.

She sold that business in 2010 to concentrate on event and wedding planning, travel, and the ticket industry.

Perillo is a certified event and wedding planner. She holds certificates of achievement as a travel agent, a master agent and Puerto Rico travel expert and as a Jamaica travel specialist. She completed training in Mexico for the Gourmet Inclusive GI University by Karisma Hotels and Resorts.

Perillo's husband, Jim, has over 25 years experience in the ticket industry and owns a successful ticket agency in Times Square. Marilyn Perillo All Occasions can offer clients seating for all Broadway shows, concerts and sporting events.

"We can guarantee you the seats you want, where you want and when you want," she said.

This year, Perillo and her staff volunteered as the Design Committee co-chairs for the 20th anniversary Orange County Land Trust event and the Bon Secours Foundation's "An Afternoon to Remember," in Lewis Park.

Perillo is also a member of the Historical Society of the Town of Warwick, the National Association of Professional Women, the Event Planners Association, and St. Stephen's Parish.

"With very busy lives it is often hard to attend to all the details involved in planning your event, your vacation, or an evening out to see a show," she said. "We are here to see to every detail of your occasion so that your plans are worry free.
