Marshall Hill School had many students read over the summer. Students who read 600 pages or more were able to participate in a special lunch and recess. This year, Marshall Hill had a Renaissance theme for their summer incentive program. The students had delicious foods including chicken wings, corn, potatoes, and bread. To the surprise of the students of Marshall Hill, there were also awesome ice cream sundaes For the recess half, the "Summer Readers" played fun games outside, such as scooter jousting, a spear throwing contest with swim noodles, and a nerf ball boulder throwing contest. All of this was made possible by the Marshall Hill PTA and staff. The entire staff was dressed in Renaissance period clothing; Knights, jesters and princesses. This was an amazing Renaissance Picnic for the summer readers here at Marshall Hill Elementary School.
