WEST MILFORD — The winners of the VFW Voice of Democracy Essay Contest were acknowledged at a recent board of education meeting.
Patrick Loughman of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7198 and VFW District Commander Bill Johnson congratulated first place winner Matt Ventrella, John Gomez who came in second and Andrea Literio, who placed third. Each received a plaque and a check from the VFW. The winners also received certificates of recognition for their achievements from the West Milford School District, presented by Interim Superintendent Anthony Riscica.
