WEST MILFORD - The Animal Shelter staff would like people to come in and meet its mastiff and terrier mix, "Tyson."
This five-year-old, housebroken boy has beautiful markings and seems okay with other dogs, shelter staff said.
Tyson is not good with cats and too strong and active for younger children.
The shelter would like to see him enjoying time with an active person or adult family who wants to give him a lot of attention and affection.
He was released to the shelter due to no fault of his own, and the shelter's staff find him to be a "really nice dog."
According to shelter volunteers, Tyson is funny too once he's warmed up to someone.
Renters should bring proof (lease/contract) that they can have a dog, as well as bringing vet's information to put on the adoption form.
The shelter is taking applications and he'll be adopted to the best fit home for him.
The shelter is located on Lycosky Drive (behind recycling), (973) 728-2859, and is open Mon.-Fri. 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sat. and Sun. 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and Wednesday evenings 7:30-9 p.m.
