West Milford — Scavengers, do-gooders, or any people who are looking for something to do on Saturday, April 21 are invited to "West Milford Beautification Day."
There will be prizes, a picnic and supplies provided to all who volunteer to help clean up the roadsides of litter throughout the township.
The West Milford Department of Public Works recycling department is calling on residents to sign up in order to help "Keep West Milford Clean & Green."
If you goVolunteers should pick up the supplies at the recycling office at 30 Lycosky Drive, anytime before the event, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
After volunteers have clean up litter along a roadside, they should bring the "most unusual, oldest & most valuable" pieces of litter found to Bubbling Springs Park between noon and 1 p.m. The best ones will win prizes.
A drawing will be held at 1:15 p.m.
Lunch will be served from noon until 3 p.m.
