RINGWOOD — Ringwood Christian School will be holding an Elementary School Open House on Thursday evening, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m.
Parents who are interested in learning more about Christian school education are invited to attend. Several special presentations will be made and school parents, students and teachers will be available to answer questions.
Ringwood Christian School services families from over 18 different communities with students coming primarily from Ringwood and West Milford.

In case of inclement weather, the event will be held on Tuesday evening, March 4.
Getting ready for kindergarten
Parents who have a student who may enter kindergarten in September are invited to attend Ringwood Christian’s “Getting Ready for Kindergarten” tea on Thursday, Feb. 27, from 10 to 11:45 a.m.
Miss K. Braunius, kindergarten teacher at Ringwood Christian School, and Dr. Donna Furrey, school principal, will present some suggestions for preparing your child for the transition to kindergarten. They will address educational as well as emotional and social issues that affect school readiness. In addition, they will answer questions that specifically relate to the kindergarten program of Ringwood Christian School.
The public is invited to this informative session. Child care will be provided.
Welcome Wednesdays
Ringwood Christian School will be holding “Welcome Wednesdays” each week from February through the end of May. Parents interested in learning more about the school are welcome to drop in at any time between 9 a.m. and noon. Parents will be given a tour of the school, an opportunity to meet faculty members and students and they will be provided with materials regarding the school.
Ringwood Christian School is now in its 41st year of providing children with a strong academic program complete with music, athletics, technology, foreign language and more.
