Ringwood Christian School students celebrate victory in math

Ringwood Christian School students recently participated in the annual Northern New Jersey Christian School Association Math Contest. Over 120 students from seven local Christian schools participated. Competition was held at each grade level from third through eighth grade. Students competed on an individual level as well as on a team level. The team of 12 elementary school students from Ringwood Christian School placed third in Division 2. This year’s team was coached by Donna Furrey, the school administrator, and two Ringwood Christian School teachers, Michelle Kachler and Stacie Kott.

Ringwood Christian School team members included Aidan Raudenbush and Hailey Bysterbusch - grade 3; Faythe Barry and Maria Weis - grade 4; Luissa Chanco and Caleb Raudenbush - grade 5; Cayla Brodeur and Zoe Thompson-Novak - grade 6; Alexis Aiello and Luke Scrudato - grade 7; and Elizabeth Rivera and Brittany LaTour - grade 8.

In Division I, for grade three, Hailey Bysterbusch placed third and in grade five, Caleb Raudenbush placed second.

In Division II, Cayla Brodeur placed second for grade six. The Division II relay team also placed second.
