Ringwood Christian School students stand out at Bible contest

— Ringwood Christian School students recently participated in the annual Northern New Jersey Christian School Association Bible Contest and experienced outstanding success, finishing second on a team level in both divisions. Over 100 students from seven northern New Jersey Christian schools participated. Competition was held at each grade level from third through eighth. Individual scores were compiled to compose team scores.

Six of the Ringwood Christian School’s 12 team members received awards for their outstanding achievement. Aren Koeber placed first for the eighth grade. Caleb Raudenbush and Cayla Brodeur placed second for their grade levels and Ella Koeber, Jonathan Mulligan and Katie Raudenbush placed third at their grade levels. Team members also included Cole Foster, Cassie Carlsen, Haley Carlsen, Gabrielle Guerrero, and Christine Torregrossa.

On a team level, Ringwood Christian School placed second in Division I and second in Division II (grades 6-8). Ringwood Christian School teachers Kelly Braunius, Cheryl Bradon and Dawn Carlsen served as the team’s coaches.
