The seventh and eighth grade students of Ringwood Christian School recently returned from an intensive three-day and two-night outdoor education learning experience at Spruce Lake in Canadensis, Pa. Under the direction of the camp staff and school faculty members, the students participated in an assortment of group activities that foster academic, physical, social and spiritual growth. Students and faculty members participated in mountain repelling, high ropes courses, hiking, swamp and stream exploration as well as other activities. The students were encouraged to develop an awareness and appreciation for their environment. In addition, students were motivated to become better stewards of the natural resources that God has entrusted to them.
